BOX OFFICE: Dilwale Mints Rs 64 Crore; Becomes Third Highest Opening Weekend Of 2015

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are currently the King and Queen at the Box Office. Their latest film, Dilwale, has fabulously enjoyed its run in the opening weekend. Rohit Shetty’s action-romance has collected approximately Rs 22.91 crore on its first Sunday.
Adding this to the film’s previous collection, Dilwale now stands with a grand total of Rs 64 crore over its first weekend at the domestic Box Office, which is indeed a healthy start.

With this, the film has got the third highest opening weekend of the year after Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 102.6 crore), and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 101.47 crore).
The film is expected to hold well in the coming days. However, all eyes are now on the second weekend collection, as it’s the Christmas weekend. That might probably a good push for the film to enter the Rs 200 crore club, as the film is likely to join the Rs 100 crore club in a few days.
What do you think?
